My art is profoundly connected to my lifelong passion for gardening.

Flowers, both as individual subjects and within broader landscapes, captivate me with their energy and life force. The rich luminous quality of houses with their carefully kept gardens tell a quiet but powerful story of the desire to create personal sanctuary. For me these scenes evoke a sense of nostalgia, and simple beauty in the ordinary.

A visit to botanical gardens last year inspired me to explore their scale and beauty in my own work, aiming to convey the sensory experience of being fully immersed in these spaces.

Just as gardens quiet the mind and awaken the senses, I hope my paintings offer a similar sense of presence and tranquility.
